I have been trying to find silkies that were heavy enough material that I would feel comfortable in but not weigh so much that they fall off of me as most silkies don’t have draw strings. These are the right weight and they have a draw string. PERFECT! As a bigger guy, 6’4” 250 with larger legs and butt, I always worry that short shorts will be too tight. These are the right balance of size and stretch! I would say true to size. I got a XXL. The liner is also very good. The liner is a great fabric that is soft, (not mesh like most other silkies) and sturdy to hold everything in. If your “equipment” is average, you’re gonna bulge a little bit. I’m a little larger than average and I bulge a lot. Just own it. Let people look if they want. ;) These are great for yard work, swimming, shirtless jogs in the neighborhood, gym/leg day, and chilling at home. Run, do not walk and buy some. I’ll be getting more for the summer for sure.

Okay ladies. These are my husbands fav shorts. I bought him his first pair almost 2 years ago and they still look brand new very high-quality I’ve bought of shorts and this style and these are by far the best in his favorite. The only reason these did not get five stars is the liner is tapered too much in the back so that it does not form as well over the buttocks. It lends to the liner creeping up, thus not as comfortable as expected.
